The day-to-day operation of Salina Presbyterian Manor is led by dedicated professionals who bring a wealth of experience and specialized expertise to their positions. As employees of Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, our promise to you is to live our mission by:

Desi Flerlage, Executive Director


Jenni Jones, Marketing Director

Jenni Jones began working at Salina Presbyterian Manor in December 2016 as Marketing Director. Before joining Presbyterian Manor she worked for Brookdale Senior Living for five and a half years in several positions including marketing and sales manager for both Brookdale assisting living communities in Salina, then become the Executive Director for Brookdale Salina Fairdale and Coordinator of Brookdale Home Health. Other positions include account executive for Salina Media Group and district sales for Aflac. She received an Adult Care Home license. Other affiliations: PBN Salina-Professional Business Network, AMBUCS.


Kelly Wellbrock, Human Resource Director

Kelly joined Salina Presbyterian Manor in February 2014. Her prior HR experience has been in retail, insurance and risk management. Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Capella University and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2011. She is a member of Salina Human Resources Management Association and also the national Society of Human Resource Management.


Shanna King, Administrative Services Director

Shanna joined Presbyterian Manor in January 2004. Her previous positions include accounts payable team leader for a leading manufacturer, accounting clerk at a local grain company, and performing accounting and clerical services for an insurance agency. Shanna is a past city councilwoman and a current member of VFS Auxiliary.


Stephanie Goetz, Health Services Director

Stephanie was named health services director in 2017. She joined Salina Presbyterian Manor as a health services RN in July 2012 and was named assisted living director in July 2015. Prior to employment at Salina Presbyterian Manor, Stephanie worked as a UPS dispatcher and administrative assistant. With her daughter, she is a devoted volunteer in youth sports and Girl Scouts. Stephanie has an associate of science in nursing from Brown-Mackie College in Salina and an Associate of Arts in general studies from Missouri State University.


Grecia Castaneda-Torres, Social Services Director

Grecia came to Presbyterian Manor in August 2017. She previously worked as a case manager and kinship specialist for St. Francis Community Services. A graduate in social work from Fort Hays State University, Grecia also has worked in senior living as a certified nurses’ aide.


Amy Thompson, Assisted Living Director

Amy joined Presbyterian Manor in June of 2017 as assisted living director. Prior to Presbyterian Manor, Amy worked as a registered nurse case manager for Brookdale Home Health. She has also worked as OSHA director at COMCARE and nurse technician at Salina Regional Health Center. Amy received her associates of science degree in nursing at North Central Kansas Tech in Hays, Kansas.


Cathy Boos, Life Enrichment Director

Cathy began working at Salina Presbyterian Manor in March 2016 as the Life Enrichment Director. Prior to coming to Salina Presbyterian Manor she worked as marketing director for Smoky Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Salina, was an account representative for northwest Kansas for the Red Cross in Hays, and was a human services specialist in the Department of Children and Families in Hays for 6 years. She earned a bachelor of business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Fort Hays State University. Cathy is a certified activity director. Cathy is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity and AMBUCS.


Keith Brown, Dining Services Director

Keith joined Presbyterian Manor in 2012 as a cook and was named dining services director in 2017. He has worked in restaurant-style kitchens since 2008, and enjoyed the atmosphere so much that he decided to make it his career. He worked his way up to dining services supervisor and then completed the Barton County Community College Certified Dietary Manager program. Keith has been named to the Barton County Community College Dietary Advisory Board.


Mary Bridges, Chaplain

Mary joined Salina Presbyterian Manor in September 2011. She received her Clinical Pastoral Education through Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, and Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas. She is certified as a Parish Ministry Associate by Central States Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and as a Social Services Designee and Activities Director by We Care. In addition to her work at Salina Presbyterian Manor, Mary serves as long-term pulpit supply at Peace Lutheran Church in New Cambria and as a call process minister for the Central States Synod. Her previous positions include interim pastor and staff associate at Messiah Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, Kansas and managing her own business as a medical transcriptionist. She is a member of the Kansas Association of Chaplains, a past church-wide board member of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and past president of the Central States Synodical Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
