Are trusts just for families with a lot of wealth? What is the difference between a revocable trust and a living trust? How can charitable giving also benefit me financially? These and other financial planning questions will be answered at a free presentation on Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Salina Presbyterian Manor.
Salina attorney Sidney A. Reitz will discuss wills, revocable trusts vs. living trusts and other types of plans that can be helpful for older adults and their families. He will also explain the need for a durable power of attorney as well as a medical power of attorney.
“Life Planning 101” will begin at 3 p.m. August 30 at Salina Presbyterian Manor, 2601 E Crawford. The presentation is free, and refreshments will be served. The talk is part of Salina Presbyterian Manor’s Just Ask series, a free, ongoing lifelong learning program featuring information from local, regional and national experts on topics of interest to older adults and their families.
