Cathy Boos has brought a fun-loving spirit to each position she has held at Salina Presbyterian Manor. She’ll bring her joy for working with our community to her new role as marketing and sales director.

Kelley Bieberle worked at Salina Presbyterian Manor as a college student, an experience that changed the trajectory of her social work career. Kelley returned to Presbyterian Manor last fall when she joined our staff as the director of social services.

Jackie Herwig’s daughters grew up visiting Salina Presbyterian Manor, where Jackie has worked as a certified nursing assistant since 2004. Today all three Herwigs are part of the Presbyterian Manor family.

Christian J. Gilbert has been appointed as the new executive director of Salina Presbyterian Manor. Gilbert has served as executive director at Clay Center Presbyterian Manor since April 2017.“Currently, I oversee daily operations including census development, ensuring profitability, optimizing resident care, adhering to state and federal compliance, and managing positive employee relations,” said Gilbert.

Desi considered moving to a hospital setting after earning her bachelor of skilled nursing and the title of registered nurse. Ultimately, she decided to remain at Presbyterian Manor. Desi became the executive director in 2017 after serving in multiple roles, including charge nurse, Medicare case manager, assisted living director and director of nursing.
