Chaplain adds to his duties

Dave Parker joined Salina Presbyterian Manor in July 2022, his first chaplain position. Now, he’s also in the role of Life Enrichment Director after three months as interim.

If you haven’t met Dave yet, he spent decades working in the financial industry. When he retired late in 2021, he put his faith in God to lead him to full-time ministry opportunities. Dave is also a pastor with First Southern Baptist Church in Abilene. He has a Master of Divinity and a Bachelor of Science in Management and Ethics.

He loves to coach kids and has a National D Level soccer coach certification. Dave also likes reading, writing, playing the guitar and piano and his stamp collection.
