Cradling a long-held joy

Jean Hamilton, a resident at Salina Presbyterian Manor, has been a doll collector most of her life.

Between Jean and her family, they have acquired 2,424 dolls from around all the world. There is nothing Jean enjoys more (besides quilting) than to share the journey and story of each and every one of the dolls she has collected.

Recently Jean and her son Ralph made a trip to Shawnee Mission to the Doll Cradle with a van full of precious cargo. Jean decided it was time to share her love of collecting with others by donating close to 2,000 of her dolls.
