Soup supper benefits seniors

Salina Presbyterian Manor’s annual Soup Supper will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1. Dine-in is from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.; carry-out is available from 4 to 7 p.m.

Homemade chicken noodle soup and chili accompanied by a slice of Carriage Crossing pie are the featured menu items at this event, which is a 39-year Salina tradition. There will be a silent auction and drawings for special donation items.

Tickets for the meal are $8 in advance or $9 at the door for adults; children 10 and under are $6. Salina Presbyterian Manor is located at 2601 E. Crawford. Additional parking and shuttle service is available from the parking lot at East Crawford Recreation Area directly across the street from the Manor. Call 785-825-1366 for more information.

Proceeds from the 39th annual Soup Supper will benefit the Good Samaritan Program, which provides assistance to residents who have outlived their financial resources through no fault of their own.
